Know whether the tool is behaving.

Built-in demo

  1. Open the main tool.
  2. Press Load demo poster.
  3. The source should report 2400×3000, which is naturally 4:5.
  4. Select 4:5 → 8×10 → 300 DPI. Crop removed should read approximately 0.0% and required pixels should be 2400×3000.
  5. Select 2:3. A crop should appear because 2400×3000 is not 2:3.
  6. Download the five-ratio ZIP and confirm it contains five images plus README.txt.

Resolution check

For the demo poster, 8×10 at 300 DPI should be READY. A larger target requiring more than 2400×3000 pixels should show LOW or CLOSE depending on the selected ratio.

Privacy check

Open browser developer tools → Network, then load a local image. The image itself should not be posted to a RatioGuard application endpoint; processing occurs with browser APIs.
